Actually this is a bit late.

I will on 1 March 2010 begin a lite exercise routine for 6 weeks. Based on the results, I could be playing golf by the end of May... Yeah..  .. Haven't swung a golf club since 22 Nov 2009 at 12:02 PM.

I miss golf.

Martee. I know you've had health concerns as of late. Is this a doctor ordered routine or self imposed? If self imposed, I'd be curious to hear what you've laid out. Espexially if you have soem golf specifc excersizes.

"If you believe in peanut butter, clap your hands". Ops, wrong intro.

I'm living proof that anyone can get back into shape. Heck my body hurts more when I don't work out as when I do; funny how that works. Damn iron! And yet other phrase that's incorrect, Rust does indeed sleep and it hurts when it wakes up! Hey, have fin with it if nothing else. I was getting 1.5 units (blood) drained off last week, had a rookie doing the procedure. So the rookie gets the needle in, tapes it down and opens the vacuum bottle, she's flowing good right about now. A little fist squeeze and off she blows, needle came right creating a mini fountain, now that's having fun! I crack myself up sometimes

May isn't far off, lots to do in May so take it easy, follow the Doc (they really get pezzed when you don't) and you will be swearing on the course in no time.

Well I wouldn't call it getting fit per-se. The goal is for me to be able to walk 2 miles in a reasonable time, no stopping by the beginning of April. Currently I have been able to make 1 mile about 2 or 3 days before I can't make it the next day. Between low blood pressure, SVTs and the occassional VT, I am a picture of perfect health. The thrust is to get me off the meds which basically make me useless, tired all the time, weak, no engery. For the past 18 months I have been poked, prodded, run into the ground and been on more meds that I can't pronounce or spell.

In April I will get an EP Study with much hope that they can correct the electrical SVT issues. Then it will more than likely be a replacement of the pacemaker with a 3 lead so it can shock me on demand. Assuming no VTs and my blood pressure stays above 90/60, I should be good to go. Then it will be Cardio Rehab.

If the above plan doesn't work, it will road trip time, not sure where but somewhere where they can do something about my problem without making me a lump in the chair. Putting it mildly I am more than just frustrated, beyond mad and damn tired of see doctors.

Okay my rant is over with.

Progress, today managed the walk, quite after three reps of the first stretch, actually got lite headed and dizzy. Ugh! Tomorrow is another day.
