Feherty becomes US Citizen

As I've listened, read, and watched him over the years, honestly I never saw him as a foreigner. Then again, nothing in his columns would ever give one the notion that he was anything other than an American to begin with. He's always talking about how he loves this place called America, how he's become one of the biggest fans of our military men and women, about why living here is so great, etc.

Well, yesterday he took the big plunge. On Tuesday, David Feherty became a US citizen. http://www.golf.com/golf/tours_news/art ... 48,00.html

Congrats to him, I'm guessing that yesterday was one of the greatest days of his life.

After visiting Ireland last year I can certainly understand why the man loves and respects America! (Sorry Shammy just ran into too many women in the Pubs who had no teeth.)

Congrats to him, and all of the men and women who become US Citizens every day. I have friends at work who have recently become citizens, or are working towards it, and I know it's a very long and difficult process. So, kudos to everyone who goes through it.
