Just looking for some ideas to think about as the end of the season approaches. My bag is pretty much set, and has been for a while, but the one thing I've been pondering this winter has been either ho'ing a new 5w or reshafting the one I have. This is a TM V-Steel with a Graphite Design YS-9.1 in S-flex. Those of you who remember rbl990 from FGI days--he made me this club about a million years ago. It's by far the oldest one in my bag, but I've been "playing around it" for most of this season. I've started to feel like it's stiffer and heavier than might be desirable.
As far as comparing it to neighboring clubs in the bag, I have an Accra SC-65 in S in the driver, and a couple of I-Rods in my two hybrids.
Just curious if anyone has come across any fairway wood shafts of late that are worth recommending. Thanks!
